Books for Coronavirus Confinement!

Hello everyone!
With coronavirus lock downs, that means plenty of time to read. No more excuses of 'I never have time to read' because now you do: no where to rush to. No wonder they call it the human race! Finally we can slow down and enjoy a good book. So here are a few to keep you going.

Becoming Dinah by Kit De Waal

This is a gripping story in which a young girl goes on a road trip with her moody neighbour to chase a stolen camper van. She meets people along the way that might just show her who she really is. It helps her pick up the pieces of her life and everything finally becomes clearer. This book is very gripping all the way until the very last page.

Greta's story the schoolgirl who went on strike to save the planet By Valentina Camerini

This book follows Greta Thunberg and inspires you to make a difference whoever you are. As I have already said: my other passion is the environment. If you would like to read my other blog about nature and the environment the address is: ourgreennatureworld.blogspot.com. This book gives hope and courage, which is especially important during these times. I think it is great as it gives us an insight to her story along with the author's tips on caring for our environment, where you can find further reading on the topic, a timeline of carbon, a glossary with harder words and a section explaining climate change for children in a simple and clear way- this book will keep you occupied for hours!

Now for a classic:Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie

A bit of a challenging read but worth it. I have a Collectors Library Edition and even having it in your hands you can already sense the magic inside! It is a truly beautiful book even if the language used is sometimes difficult. A stunning book to keep you 'hooked' until the end!
